sina their silver wedding anniversary in his castle “La Crovara” on top of
Celle. During the party, he amused himself scaring guests by shouting that
dozens of farmers, angry because of too many taxes, were marching on the
castle with scythes, pitchforks, and sticks. Still not satisfied, he woke his
guests at around one in the morning, saying that the ghost of his ancestor
was roaming the rooms of the castle. What a sad end for a lineage of brave
navigators!
