The T1 servIce cIPher
After the SB adoption, the previous CFbis remained valid for radio communications within the
Divisions, unless the Headquarters directly encoded messages by the D or R codes. On 1 September,
with the entry into service of the new T cipher, for communications between radio stations of
Divisions and those of their subordinate units, the CFbis was finally dismissed .
