Note biografiche Ph.D.

Antonello BATTAGLIA, Ph.D, graduated cum laude in 2009 in Modern History at
Sapienza, University of Rome. PhD candidate in History of Europe (Faculty of Political
Sciences, Sapienza University of Rome). Collaborator of the Italian Commission of
Military History (CISM) and a member of the Committee for the History of the Italian
Risorgimento.

Kerstin BISCHL, PhD, Researcher at the Center for Transdisciplinary Gender Studies,
Humboldt University, Berlin. Special fields: Eastern European history, gender studies.

Davide BORSANI PhD candidate in Institutions and Politics at the Università Cattolica
del Sacro Cuore of Milan.

Emilio CASSESE Ph.D was born in Naples and graduated from the State University
of Perugia, Italy (faculty of Political Sciences) in 2010. From november 2011 he carries
out his PHd research at the State University of Rome «La Sapienza» (Italy). For several
years Emilio Cassese collabrates with the department of the History of Economics of the
State University of St. Petersburg (Russia).

Giovanni Cerino BADONE, Ph.D (Alessandria, 22 June 1976), MA, PhD, is a
researcher at the Center for Historical Analysis of Landscape (Centro per l’Analisi Storica
del Territorio, CAST) at the University of Eastern Piedmont “Amedeo Avogradro” and
a member of the Italian Society of History military (Società Italiana di Storia Militare,
SISM).

of Rome, Faculty of Political Science; her research, which focused on Libya during the

(Naples) with a thesis entitled “I sommergibili del fascismo. Politica navale, strategia,

obtaining his high school diploma in 1994, he graduated in Italian Language and
Literature in 2000 at the University of Perugia

Gian Luigi GATTI Ph.D Dottore di ricerca, è professore a contratto presso la Scuola
