              Once again, Ronge did not attribute any merit for the seize of Gorizia to the Italian Intelligence Service,
              since, in his view, it would only have exploited several deserters. However, he recognised that “the
              Russian front was attracting everyone’s attention at that time” , and later admitted the failure of the
